Department of Emergency Medicine (ER) | ||||||

The Department of Emergency Medicine (ER) at the Saitama Medical Center is responsible for the initial treatment of tertiary medical care, and also provides exogenous and endogenous primary and secondary medical care. It is characterized by a wide range of diseases ranging from elbow disorders to multiple traumas. At the same time, it is a base hospital for the Saitama medical helicopter business.
The approximate number of ambulances received during the year was 6,000, and 4,000 emergency walk-in patients (emergency department support) outside hours, the total number of patients in the hospital emergency room was 1,300 (trauma 40%), and the medical helicopter was dispatched less than 600 times.
We believe that we can respond to all emergencies with the Department of Emergency and Critical Care Medicine, the Center for Maternal-Fetal and Neonatal Medicine, the Pediatric Intensive Care Room (PICU) and the medical helicopter.
The main business is the emergency patient's initial treatment, medical helicopter, ward management of the patient after leaving the ICU, and response to sudden changes in hospital. Do you wanna come and do some crazy training? We want to meet your wish with the work period/contents as much as possible. It is also possible to include training at the largest ICU/latest PICU in Japan during that period.
We are working hard every day to play a central role in emergency medical care in
Saitama Prefecture. In order to do this, we need more young strength (including the
self-proclaimed).
Come join us!!!
