  3. We will strive to enhance the emergency medical care in the region, centering on the Center for Maternal Fetal and Neonatal Medicine and the Department of Emergency and Critical Care Medicine.
  4. We strive to develop medical personnel who have a strong and highly skilled mind.
  5. As a Disaster Base Hospital, we develop a medical system that can respond to disasters.

Your right to receive medical care

The hospital staff respects the rights of everyone receiving medical care.

  1. The right to receive quality medical care by valuing each individual
  2. The right to choose a medical institution of your own choice
  3. The right to receive sufficient explanation and decide your own medical care.
  4. The right to express your own wishes for medical care
  5. Your right to have your privacy protected
  6. The right to receive a second opinion if desired

To patients receiving medical care

Please cooperate in the following to realize highly satisfying medical care and the provision of appropriate medical care.

  1. Please tell us more accurately about your health in detail.
  2. For things you don't understand even after you get an explanation, please ask about them until you are able to understand.
  3. Please let us know if you feel anything abnormal after receiving a treatment.
  4. Please cooperate so as to not disrupt the medical treatment provided by the hospital staff.
  5. Please be careful not to disturb the other patients or visitors.
  6. Please understand and cooperate in the clinical educational internship.

In addition, if you commit an act that causes trouble to the hospital staff or other patients and visitors, we may refrain from treating you at our hospital.

Ethical guidelines in clinical practice

Faculty members provide safe and high quality medical care while caring for the dignity and human rights of those who receive treatment in compliance with the following clinical ethics guidelines.

  1. We conduct medical treatment in compliance with relevant laws and regulations and in accordance with relevant guidelines.
  2. If there is a problem related to the dignity and human rights of people receiving medical care, the Ethics Committee will deliberate sufficiently and we will respond appropriately.
  3. We are actively conducting clinical trials and research on pharmaceuticals for the development of medicine and medical care and the Clinical Trial Review Committee and the Ethics Committee will fully deliberate in advance.
  4. Clinical trials and research are carried out after obtaining written consent.
  5. Healthcare professionals respect privacy and adhere to confidentiality obligations.
