Introduction
Our hospital has been designated by Saitama Prefecture as a "Regional Base Hospital for Cancer Treatment Collaboration". The patient support room has a wide range of consultations related to cancer as a Cancer Counseling Support Center. In addition we will cooperate with other departments to support if necessary.
Contents of consultations
For example
- Anxiety about the future after diagnosed with cancer.
- The cost of treatment and surgery.
- The treatment, nursing and care service after discharge.
- How family members can support?
- Work and school while undergoing treatment.
- Hospice and palliative care.
